The intent behind this piece was to capture the ideology behind the legendary singer, Jim Morrison’s, philosophy on life. The Dionysian and Apollonian aspects of his work, which played a great role in his career. Major inspirations for this work came from Morrison’s poetry in the album, an American Prayer, centrally the song, “Ghost Song,” however, there are themes from his other songs such as “The End” and “Riders on the Storm”
